Can going from one subject to another everyday be a drag?

Blog #16

Going from one subject to another every day can be a drag. Traveling from one continent to another can also be a pain or insanely boring if you haven’t got your priorities sorted out. What am I talking about? Many students get frustrated because the pressure is on when lessons finish; some free time wouldn’t go amiss to prioritize notes and organize subject matter, and what else needs to be done while the information is still fresh on one’s mind. Very often the interval between classes just doesn’t allow for it.

It is similar if your bags are packed and you arrive in the middle of the Antarctic with your skimpy swimwear and few warm clothes for a hot country like Dubai. Of course, it is a different kind of boredom and pressure because you can’t sunbathe on ice, and even if you could you would be highly unlikely to wear minimal clothing in such cold conditions. On the other hand one has to improvise in surroundings such as these. Alright, I’m talking drivel to some of you, but the bottom line is you might want to overcome hurdles in order to get the results you should be aiming for.

For many students it is easier to take a back seat, and take the easy road accepting the actual circumstances and not even focusing on how to resolve them. That being said, if you were to arrive in the Antarctic by mistake you really would have a problem, wouldn’t you? Have you noticed how much easier life is when someone shows you how to sort out problems though? Knowing the road map can certainly make the difference between success and failure! So again I ask students to relate to themselves how they honestly feel with regards to education?

If you love it then, “Walla”; you are on a roll. If you are confused, not that keen, can’t concentrate, stressed, dealing with a family dilemma, don’t get it, or something to that effect; it could be a small measure of change that puts you back on the right course. Don’t give up; many people in this world will consider you as a loser, but I know that just isn’t the case. You can stop in your tracks, reason with yourself, and ask yourself why doing well at school will have a considerable impact on your future.

I challenge everyone reading this to stop for a moment; consider your predicament. Literally; pause! Do you want to change for the better, or are you completely happy with your situation. Would you like to help yourself?  I really can’t answer that question and only you can decide. It serves as my education to help students in need, as it may be of your interest to help others by providing the skills to a worthwhile career. If you plant the seeds now and set your life up to succeed you will reap the rewards in multiple ways. I know my lifestyle outcome, do you know yours?

Good luck, and remember each of us really does plants seeds, so the question is; are your seeds the right ones?
