I believe in you!
Blog #18
Just 7 days to go and our author Carl Boniface is back in Miami after 10 weeks on the road to theMiddle East and Europe. Here he shares a few words and his favorite English football club!
Welcome back to my blog. As some may already know I've been traveling to The Middle East and Europe since the beginning of May during which time I managed to chill out although in fairness I was already super cool!
Now though with just 7 days to go I realize I need to get back in the mode and swing myself back on track. I listen to some spa music and reflect over being away from Miami. I breath deep and then let the air back out my mouth at a controlled pace. And then I remember how nice it is to hear good music, especially if you call the mellow sound of birds, running water, and perfectly tuned piano the calming edge. I do, but then most reading these blogs aimed at students would more likely prefer Beyonce, Snoop Dog, or some other possibly new artist; it makes sense!
In the case of students it's a question of where one wants to end up.Either you are ready and raring to go, aware and taking steps to commence studies, or for that matter avoiding it completely. There are many ways to deal with it, but if I were to make a suggestion I would say it is as important as actually starting. Preparation is what divides the winners from the losers. The key is you don't have to be the best student, the fastest, or the smartest, but following a set of principals is what it takes to take aim, build the momentum, reach full potential before arriving at your destination.
My daughter is a specialist at listening to music, watching digital TV, or communicating on Facebook as she does her homework. Questioned about it she says it helps her concentrate! This gentle music is helping me remember the way we prepare, varying degrees of importance, different preparatory manners to get back into it, but all in all finding the way to focus ones attention on the objective.
Of course students all around the globe are breaking up for summer holidays / vacations now, so couldn't care a less about this subject; enjoy the break, but stay focused. I am working towards my goals and streamlining my work for all of you. I hope you continue to enjoy my blogs and find them useful for debate. Let me know sometime what you think!

Everybody should do at least two things each day that he hates to do, just for practice.
