How are we to overcome stress?
Blog #33
Today's blog from Carl is about stress, how it influences us, and how we can combat it.
On development of my website Students Ratings I realized my aim isn't just high school drop-outs, absentees, trouble makers and lazy students, or those who can't be bothered to do their homework. Neither am I trying to say many people confuse inability to concentrate with stress.
The fact of the matter is it can be extremely stressful for those who are the most intelligent students in class. They often get stressed out from overworking, or in other words they overload and suffer symptoms often overlooked. These symptoms can be treated. Students Ratings recommends Maria Pascucci, who is a successful author. She offers a give away anti-stress kit to students who apply online.
The thing is at any stage in our life we are subject to analyzing ourselves for one reason or another. Take for example when one transcends from one job to another. Surely the purpose is to improve ones circumstances. Not always the case, as seen when a firm is downsizing. One could be laid off and without work for several months. It's traumatizing and often stressful until one settles into another role.
I was one of the lucky ones having received a push in the right direction by my father. He taught me the value of sticking it out once I'd secured a relatively safe career path. The assurance company, back then, was one of the United Kingdom's oldest and most established insurance companies. My dad understood the necessity to put my feet on the ground in a stable firm where I stayed for five full years. Now I look back and realize how lucky I had been to get my grounding for future success.
That is what it takes for the average person to establish the learning habits to stride forward. The basic elements of office administration coupled with general knowledge and life skills necessary for me to go it alone. Yes, I broke away and started working for myself when I turned twenty one years after recuperating from my wasted school eduction.
For many it is never too late to change, and never to early to improve. So if you want my advice may I suggest to start working on yourself and enhance your self-esteem, confidence, and ability to communicate would be a good commencement. Get into the right positive attitude today to make tomorrow worth living.
