Does being overweight make a difference?

| Dressing up last Friday night became challenging after my wife ticked me off for using sloppy clothing. Even more so insight of potential upper market celebrities like Mickey Rourke, Kourtney Kardashian, or the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei that could visit the Fontainebleau hotel and resort where we were going to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday. | The Fontainebleau had glamour during its grand opening in 1954, and more recently it has been revamped for the next generation of Miami Beach fashionable residents, gentry, and sophisticated people who visit, infused with the sexy, ultramodern spirit of the eccentric original. |
Many say a billion dollars was spent refurbishing and renovating, and because of a huge sum in unpaid contractors’ claims, the Wall Street Journal reported Friday that the Fontainebleau allegedly violated the terms of its loan, in part, because it didn’t maintain appropriate reserves to cover the $60 million in construction liens.

My family had no idea of this scenario when we were enjoying our evening dining experience, but the following day my father in law shoved across the breakfast table a Miami journal, which wrote that Miami Beach may face a default judgment because of unpaid contractor claims.

I usually prefer an easy fit clothing line to feel comfortable, especially on a hot summer’s night in Miami; better than forcing myself into a tight pair of pants made when my waist measured a couple of inches less. I love my steaks! My wife reminded me where the jamboree would take place. I hadn’t bothered buying larger clothes since packing the pounds and my weight had definately shot up. I'm not worried, as I’m confident and believe I’ll get back into them sooner than later. I am working out to back up my statement After seeing such an iconic building with such grand funds invested, it appeared inexorable. What seemed like an endless amount of people, many might easily be mistaken for a special event. I witnessed a vibrant and rock-solid enterprise. |
It just goes to show that however much money you’ve got and however much you impress others, it doesn’t mean that you are not infallible. So does it really matter if you carry a few extra pounds? For women it may mean not being able to wear that skimpy swimwear, and as a man it might signify not being able to put on designer garments. But then does it really matter. None of us are perfect. We need to tap into our inner resources and make the most of our predicament. For students that should indicate standing up for progress. ![]() |

Diet is a serious issue that affects so many of us. I've gone from a 30 inches waist to 38 over the last 7 or 8 years. I'm not proud of it, but I think life goes on. You either love it or hate it. I agree that we have to believe we can lose it and take action, but I've been saying that for the last 4 or 5 years. I try dieting, that fails, and then I start eating again. Only my weight increases. It's a vicious circle. I like good food, so why do I need to suffer by eating vegetables and salads? As long as meat is around I'm eating it!

I'll tell you up front. Women don't dig fat slobs, so yeah it does make a difference. My suggestion to anyone wanting to shed a few pounds: Eat less!
