| One of the biggest career moves I ever made was when I quit my job at 21 years old and started working for myself on a self-employed basis. It's about making the right move. It meant I had a certain amount of control over my destiny. That was over a quarter of a century ago when options were wide open. Saying that nowadays personal computers are the norm, in fact notebooks are owned by many, and mobiles with Internet connections are becoming common place; what will be next? I know one thing for sure -- staying ahead of the crowd will benefit future outcome. So who is able to keep a foot in front of the competition? If technology is your career path then staying abreast of it is the obvious introduction, but what does it take to be on top of it? |

I'm no expert, but I will say this: paying attention to upcoming trends has a certain influence on the general direction of diverse segments of the economy. Hitting the target opens up many possibilities. Those individuals who are aware of market trends are in a position to make headway before others follow. Well that's the theory. Now it sounds an impossible task, but ask yourself this question: if you aren't already doing it set up Google news to inform you when the, 'latest technological developments' come up, so you can check the results every morning when they arrive in your inbox -- wouldn't that help you out? I believe awareness has helped me chisel out my career path. An openness to what is around the corner. Observing the rest of the world. looking for opportunities. Listening to others bragging about their family member who has started something new. Watching out for new ideas while conjuring up my own business ventures. Traveling to far away places and savoring local novelties. There is no end to innovative manipulations. |
| Keep in contact with other entrepreneurs you've met to exchange ideas, and get copies of fast thinking magazines.
