Who should one aspire to?
Blog 47 Most people aspire to successful people, generally measured by financial status, or degree of success if evident. Others look up to energetic or healthy individuals, or determine feelings via pleasurable appearances. It is all to common to gauge through emotions based on instincts, and in fairness it makes sense, wouldn't you agree?
I like to think of myself as someone who is climbing the ladder - in more ways than one like age, health, and beauty. The harsh reality is we are as good as we feel. Now many young people will not relate to my blog today because if you are young it would be unfair to expect you to understand it the way a middle aged person would. The truth is it will happen to all of us one day. I'm not trying to sound miserable because I'm not, but I want readers to appreciate the advantages of being young.
We will not go into what is considered young, as I said that comes down to individual circumstances. Students wouldn't likely reflect on maturity in this context. Can you blame them for having lots of testosterone and emotional excitement in their late teens and young adults lives. Life is an experience and there are so many options and opportunities those who have the passion make it work. The purpose of this blog is to reflect on our personal situation and make every moment as enjoyable as the next.
So what is it we desire? Everyone has their own needs and ambitious state of affairs to deal with, but in my humble opinion based on human nature we want happiness, pleasure, security, connection, love, certainty and uncertainty. Although I have never studied academically, I'm knowledgeable enough to appreciate psychology plays an important role in our emotional state of mind. This means our brain determines how we react to an occurrence, or in other words the way we feel.
Therefore, going back to who one should aspire to it makes sense to start young so as to climb the ranks and become a successful person. Success isn't just related to being rich, or having looks to die for. To the contrary success is a state of mind. However, it isn't just saying to yourself I'm the best and getting excited by looking in the mirror and smiling thinking it. It's about aspiring to others who have become successful through hard work, stretching themselves to new heights, and people who have overcome tremendous obstacles to become successful.
You may be a natural winner, but studying the way others have succeeded helps climb the ranks. Take for example Armstrong's cycling successes against all odds. Take a positive example from others to bring out your best qualities and unleash the power within. MAIN SITE
