I tried dozing off, but my two daughters and niece rose switching bedroom and bathroom lights on and off. It wouldn’t have mattered if my bedroom door had stayed closed, but that wasn’t the case. I shouted out asking my wife to close it, and eventually she did, but it was too late I was fully awake. Once they had departed I got up to make an Assam tea with a drop of low fat milk and lay in bed starring out of the window. What a beautiful blue skyline I pondered another great day for a walk. |

Before getting up I made an international call to my parents in England. My father answered and we got into a general discussion. One early topic was about the weather; a typical conversation for Brits when they open chit chat. There were blue skies over London and he was contented. I don’t recollect how he got on the subject of global warming, but it sparked off his worldly knowledge and experience condemning the experts who put global warming onto our back when according to him the sun is getting hotter. My dad seems to know better than the experts, but I dug up an interesting article to ponder over! |

After taking Goldy for his customary evacution outside the apartment complex I walked until the other side of the opening bridge on 163rd Street before taking a left to Oleta River State Park and walking with my Skechers from one end to the other. They say they are designed to help tone ones muscles – from ones back and abdomen to ones buttocks and calves. I'd say they are different, but after three weeks it's difficult to see any improvement in my posture and general conditioning. Time will tell! |
