The world’s brainchildren are confused!

If economy is one of your worst subjects then you are not alone; as we have seen in 2008, the crash and meltdown, if the world’s experts cannot get it right then who can? Although free markets are a political solution with less governmental restrictions since the 80s perhaps it needs reform.

You may be thinking what happened; and to be fair very few people are consciously aware of how evolution has changed the planet’s inhabitant’s way of thinking. Technology such as the TV was invented less than one hundred years ago and many people wouldn’t be able to survive without it, Communism in countries like USSR (Russia) led by Lenin inspired by the ideas of Marxism has since ended, or how the Second World War that to a certain degree shaped world economy has influenced outcomes. My academic achievements are nothing to brag about, but like many I read and try to fathom out how the economy can benefit my future.

Recently I visited my local library and borrowed Commanding Heights, a three part DVD set on the subject of ‘The Battle of Ideas’, ‘The New Rules of the Game’, and ‘The Agony of Reform’ in the battle for world economy. I’m in a phase that I believe the more information we suck in and learn then it will empower us to look for ways to improve, so yes, studies are important! On merit this series is an accurate interpretation of how the economy has changed in the last century leading up to when it was produced in 2003.

If you haven’t seen it in its entirety then may I suggest you dig up a copy from somewhere? It’s worth its weight as an overall powerhouse of information, so go get a copy.
